Cenote Cristalino is located 20 km from Playa del Carmen, only a 20-minutes drive. The moment you arrive at Cenote Cristalino its vast vegetation, the transparency of the water and evryth8ing around it will make your yaw drop.
Entrance Fee of Cenote Cristalino is $150 MXN for adults and $100 MXN for children under 11 years old. They are open from Monday through Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. By paying the entrance fee, a life jacket will be included. Take note that lockers are available but they have an extra charge of $50 MXN.
The use of regular sunscreen is not allowed in Cenotes, you may only use biodegradable sunscreen. Regular sunscreen contain chemical ingredients that alter the flora and fauna of the underground rivers. We recommend you also bring your own food since there aren’t any restaurants in the Cenote. Also, don’t forget to bring cash with you.
Cenote Jardin del Eden is surrounded by green vegetation and trees of the region that gives the impression of being in a prosperous garden. Around the area you’ll find some palapas to rest and to enjoy the natural surroundings. This cenote is one of the largest open-air Cenotes in the Riviera Maya.
